Developer Engagement Representative - Events (Part-time, Contract)

The Developer Relations team at Roblox is hiring for a Developer Engagement team member on the events team. You will report to the Senior Program Manager which falls under the International Community Team. We're looking for someone who is passionate about Roblox and Developer events.

This is a remote 12-month part-time contract position in the US.

You will:

• Develop an understanding of Roblox moderation rules and guidelines

• Act as a liaison between roblox and the developer community for event outreach.

• Work on upcoming event initiatives and projects.

• Celebrate support and engage with upcoming and current international developers on the platform

• Plan and execute online and in person community events, workshops, and initiatives that inspire and connect developers

• Great understanding of Roblox and the Roblox community

• Good standing regarding Roblox moderation history

• Excellent speaking and writing skills

• Belief that helping the community is crucial to the success of the company

• Availability to support and attend online and offline community events

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits on this page are applicable to this hourly position.

Hourly Pay Range
$20—$25 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
