Dev Ops Engineer (f/m/d)

We are looking for:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who bridges software development and IT operations. In this role, you will build and operate our internal platform, enabling fast, reliable, and secure software delivery while maintaining a stable and scalable infrastructure.

The role is based in Munich.

Your mission:
• Plan, set up, and configure our hosting infrastructure using containers, EKS, and AWS
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality, consistent, and secure software releases
• Conduct technical investigations and build prototypes for future solutions
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to continuously improve our platform
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance developer experience and automation across teams
• Design and automate Identity and Access Management (IAM) workflows, including user lifecycle management, role-based access control, and secure integrations with internal and external systems
• Implement and maintain security tooling (CSPM / CNAPP) to detect vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps
• Identify and remediate misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps
• Contribute to backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

Your profile:
• Strong knowledge of AWS services
• Experience in setting up, upgrading and maintaining of AWS-EKS clusters
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably in CircleCI
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID as part of a broader IAM strategy, including integration with cloud environments
• You are interested in architecture patterns
• You are a team player and willing to work on continuous improvement

Additional plus points if you bring some of the following...
• AWS certifications
• Scala development
• Experience with: 
• - CSPM / CNAPP tools
• - Microsoft Entra ID
• - Observability tools (Grafana)
• - Unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
