As a Destination Efficiency Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting operational efficiency at a city and destination level. This role focuses on the execution of efficiency initiatives through day-to-day monitoring, data-driven analysis, and tactical process improvements to ensure optimal resource allocation, demand–supply balance, and overall operational health. By proactively identifying inefficiencies and operational risks, the Destination Efficiency Specialist contributes to improving service reliability, cost efficiency, and the quality of transfers across destinations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration, and thrives in an operational environment where timely insights and execution directly impact customer experience and scalability.

Responsibilities

Destination Efficiency & Operational Execution

• Assist in real-time monitoring of destination performance, ensuring service efficiency and stability
• Support the implementation of driver allocation models, ensuring the right supply-demand balance per market.
• Execute predefined operational adjustments (e.g., cutoff times, vehicle limits, pricing strategies) based on live data analysis.
• Identify bottlenecks in city operations and escalate key findings to the Destination Efficiency Supervisor.
• Monitor and refine bookings allocation for peak-hour stability, ensuring high service reliability.

Demand-Supply Balancing & Driver Allocation

• Track driver availability across multiple cities, ensuring proper service capacity during peak and off-peak periods
• Assist in the optimization of incentive programs, ensuring drivers remain engaged and aligned with operational targets.
• Work closely with Acquisition & Recruiting to highlight geographic or time-slot-based driver shortages.
• Conduct basic data analysis on operational trends, supporting proactive decision-making on driver allocation.
• Assist in the implementation of auto-adjustments for driver distribution and transfer prioritization.

Transfer Success & Service Reliability

• Track and work towards reducing and avoiding last-minute cancellations, ensuring transfer fulfillment aligns with service commitments.
• Monitor service-level disruptions, identifying patterns that require further operational intervention.
• Communicate emerging service risks to Live Operations / Emergency Handling to trigger rapid corrective measures.
• Assist in the execution of automated service adjustments, reducing reliance on manual interventions
• Work with Quality & Compliance/Offboarding to flag recurring driver issues impacting service efficiency.

Data-Driven Operational Execution

• Maintain/monitor real-time dashboards, tracking transfer success rates, driver utilisation, and operational bottlenecks.
• Execute routine data analysis, ensuring that key operational performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
• Assist in the forecasting of demand surges, ensuring proper resource allocation.
• Report inefficiencies and suggest improvements in driver scheduling, dispatching, and allocation models.
• Conduct weekly reviews of operational data, ensuring continuous optimization of destination workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with Live Operations team to provide real-time visibility on driver availability and operational risks.
• Partner with Destination Owners and Acquisition & Recruiting teams to proactively communicate driver shortages or surpluses and support capacity planning.
• Work closely with the Pricing team to ensure operational decisions align with cost efficiency and budget targets.
• Coordinate with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics teams to support performance tracking and data-driven operational decisions.
• Collaborate with Driver Support and Destination Success teams to ensure smooth execution and continuously improve both driver and customer experience.


Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, Analytics, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience in operations).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Any other language skills will be considered a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in live operations, demand-supply planning, or operational execution.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in data visualization and reporting tools. Proficiency in operational dashboards, Excel, and/or SQL (preferred).
• Understanding of workforce allocation strategies and cost-efficient operational adjustments.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently; strong sense of ownership
• A friendly and upbeat personality.
• Digital native: fluent in web and digital technologies.
