Eurofins Environment Testing Australia is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 300 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and with Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater. 

• Part Time role | 5 days a week | 12 PM to 5 PM | 25hours/week 
• Based at 3/83 Coonawarra Road, Winnellie NT 0820

The Despatch / Warehouse personnel are responsible for the preparation and despatch of sample containers and delivery / collections of such at client’s work site or office. Additionally, Despatch / Warehouse personnel are responsible for further general duties as directed.

Reporting to the Supervisor, the role will focus on:

• Labelling of all containers for clients
• Washing of containers
• Dosing of containers that require preservatives
• Cleaning of all eskies
• Despatch of eskies (to clients and Eurofins satellite offices)
• Filling of DI water
• Completing and despatching of sample container orders
• Loading and unloading of items (from delivery trucks)
• Sample container delivery and sample pickup.

About You

To be successful for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following qualities and characteristics:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

On the job training will be provided, along with the use of our systems and programs. Previous exposure to a warehouse environment would hold you in good stead, however our successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
