We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative on our Backshift at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday - fixed shift, working 18:00hrs to 02:15hrs
Salary: £13.20 per hour (plus 50p per hour backshift premium)
Responsibilities
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare items for dispatch, including labelling and documenting all necessary information.
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and ensure that they are stored in the correct locations.
• Conduct stock checks and maintain an organized despatch area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and dispatch targets.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, following company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment is preferred but not essential.
• Counterbalance licence is required
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and tasks as required.
