Designer / Senior Designer - Civil 3D BIM Modeler

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for an Designer - Civil 3D BIM Modeler to join our team in Bengaluru.

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models for underground utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D. Model wet and dry utilities, including storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water distribution, gas, and telecom.
• Generate plan, profile, and cross-section drawings for construction and regulatory approvals. Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts using tools like Navisworks.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate representation of existing and proposed conditions. Maintain model integrity and ensure as-built conditions are accurately reflected.
• Work within multi-user environments using cloud platforms (ACC, ProjectWise).
• Customize object styles, label styles, pipe network styles, and configure part lists as per project requirements. Support data management through shortcuts and drawing references.

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, or a related field.
• 3 –10 years of experience in Civil 3D utility modeling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
• Experience with ACC, BIM 360, or ProjectWise.
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and construction documentation.
