Essential Functions
Develops methods and material requirements to produce customer requested items most effectively
Part/Component detailed design capability utilizing 3D Modeling, BOM, drawing pack prep, and process development
Knowledgeable about all manufacturing capabilities
Tracks product design through all stages up to and through manufacturing
Provides technical design support for sales, manufacturing and quality functions
Performs and oversees engineering change requests. Evaluates and ensures that requested changes are feasible and accomplish the desired result
Ability to manage multiple projects
Provides/Develops estimates for new parts and tooling
Positive attitude and professional demeanor
Self-starter and self-motivated
Technical skills, such a blueprint reading, 3D Software preferred
Education / Experience
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Preferred
4-5 years of experience in the engineering / manufacturing industry
Computer skills, auto cad/3D software, knowledge of manufacturing processes
