Our client manufactures transportation window systems for recreational vehicles, transit and bus vehicles and related vehicle safety products. Located in central Wisconsin with an abundance of outdoor attractions that include hunting, fishing, skiing and fresh air.  The Design engineers report to the Engineering Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all aspects of new product design and improvement. This includes the design, development, documentation, manufacturability, and implementation into production. Lead the design process with quality, manufacturing, purchasing, inventory control and sales. Oversee development and maintenance of bill of materials. Troubleshoot product issues and provide direction on the necessary corrective actions.

REQUIREMENTS: BS in Engineering and 1 plus year or Associate in Engineering and 3 plus years experience using Solid Works or similar 3D CAD in vehicle or electromechanical or similar product design. Pluses: PLC, programming, ladder logic, DOT, SAE, ASTM, ANSI, and glazing. One of the 2 should be a candidate with an electromechanical background.  These skills would apply to our developing entrance and exit door product which has a combination of moving mechanical parts, pneumatics, and electrical controls/sensor.
