Job Description

About Mammoth Brands

Mammoth Brands (formerly Harry’s Inc.) is the modern CPG company behind brands Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, Mando, and Coterie. We’re building a new model—and home—brands, founders, and talent looking to solve unmet needs, improve peoples’ lives, and ultimately challenge the status quo. Our mission is to “Create Things People Like More.” Simply put: everything we do should be better than what already exists. If it’s not, we don’t do it. This guides everything we do, from developing the best product experiences, to making Mammoth Brands a great place to work, to exploring innovative ways to give back to our community.

We got our start in 2013 when our co-founders created Harry's. They built the brand differently—online first, prioritizing direct relationships with customers—and in the process learned they’d created something bigger: a playbook and platform that could help other brands grow and scale to their full potential, and a vision to reimagine consumer packaged goods. Today, Mammoth Brands is a growing portfolio of brands and the largest CPG company built in the last 20 years. Even as we grow, we take extra care to maintain the small, scrappy, entrepreneurial culture that helped to get us where we are today: to create a company that people like more, that better serves its customers, employees, and community. As a company, we’re also committed to making a positive impact and have donated over $20 million through our network of nonprofit partners to date.

About the team

The Harry's and Flamingo Creative team shapes how millions of people experience our brands. We're responsible for the full creative output; packaging design, advertising, photography and video production, retail marketing, digital, and social. We're a collaborative, craft-obsessed team that believes great brand work can be both beautiful and commercially sharp.

About the role

You are equal parts designer and leader - a tastemaker with sharp creative judgment, a clear point of view, and the systems thinking to make great work scale. This is a deeply embedded role spanning packaging, in-store marketing, digital, and social, where creativity and operational rigor intersect daily. You understand both the craft and the commercial reality, and you navigate that duality with confidence. You inspire and do. You manage up and down. You bring clarity to complexity and momentum to ideas - delivering exceptional brand work with taste, intention, and discipline.

What you will accomplish

• Brand & Design Systems: Build and maintain scalable design systems across packaging, retail, digital, and social - ensuring visual consistency and quality at every touchpoint.

• Creative Leadership: Work closely with the Head of Creative to identify and refine the best ideas. Set and uphold the creative standard across the team.

• Hands-On Design Contribution: Split your time between leading and making. Contribute directly to packaging, campaigns, digital launches, and brand work - and push collaborators to do the same.

• Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Brand, Product, Retail, Marketing, and Operations to make sure creative work is both great and commercially grounded.

• Team Development: Mentor and develop designers through clear feedback and meaningful growth opportunities. Keep the team moving with clarity and purpose.

• Process and Operations: Manage time and resources well - yours and your team's. Improve workflows where you can, and make sure projects land on time and on scope.

This should describe you

• 8+ years of experience in brand design, with demonstrated creative leadership - though we care more about the depth of your experience than the length of it.

• Deep expertise in packaging design and production processes.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating work across physical and digital environments.

• Proven ability to build, document, and scale design systems.

• Hands-on proficiency in Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with curiosity about emerging tools and workflows.

• Experience managing and developing design talent.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Here's who you'll work with

• Reporting to the Head of Creative for Harry’s and Flamingo

• Working on the Harry’s and Flamingo Creative team

• You’ll closely interact and work with the Creative and larger Brand team as well as Product, Retail, Marketing, and Operations teams.

Benefits and perks

• Medical, dental, and vision coverage

• 401k match

• Equity in Mammoth Brands

• Flexible time off and working hours

• L&D stipend

• 4 weeks sabbatical after 5 years, 6 weeks after 10 years, and 8 weeks after 15 years

• 20 fully paid weeks off for parents who give birth, or 16 fully paid weeks off for all other paths to parenthood

• Fun IRL and virtual events including happy hours, team building events, and parties on our rooftop

• Free products from all of our brands

The Mammoth Brands working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Our beautiful 70,000 square foot SoHo office is decked out with bagels on Wednesdays and lunch on Thursdays, and fully stocked kitchens with snacks, coffee, and drinks everyday. Can’t forget the free products and the opportunity to have some meetings without Zoom!

We can’t quantify all of the intangible things we think you’ll love about working at Mammoth Brands, like the exciting challenges we tackle, the smart and humble team you’ll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $200,000-$230,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.

Mammoth Brands is committed to bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives. We strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive, feel a sense of belonging, and do great work together.
