Position Overview
A growing outpatient dermatology practice is seeking an experienced Part-Time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care across two New Jersey locations in Ramsey and Fairfield. This provider will split time between both offices and play a key role in delivering comprehensive dermatologic services in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically confident NP who enjoys autonomy while working within a supportive team structure.
Schedule Requirements
• Part-time schedule
• Must be willing to split time between Ramsey and Fairfield, NJ
• Minimum of two (2) evening shifts per week until 7:00 PM
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and follow-up visits
• Diagnose and manage common skin conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, etc.)
• Perform in-office dermatologic procedures (biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, etc.)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide patient education on skincare and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
Preferred Skills
• Experience with cosmetic dermatology (not required but welcomed)
• Comfort working across multiple practice locations
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Requirements:
Qualifications
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Jersey (or eligible for licensure)
• National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of two (2) years of dermatology experience required
• Strong procedural skills in medical dermatology
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting
