Dermatologist Opportunity – Academic Setting (Greenville, North Carolina)
A healthcare system located in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Dermatologist to join a well-established and growing academic dermatology division. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative team within a respected academic environment.
Position Highlights:
• Employment with a large regional healthcare system

• Responsibilities include teaching dermatology and primary care residents, as well as medical students and participation in clinical research
• Approximately 90% outpatient responsibilities, including general dermatology clinic and procedures

• Potential leadership role within the dermatology residency training program for qualified individuals
About the Department:
The Department of Internal Medicine includes multiple specialty divisions supported by over 85 full-time faculty members and 150 support staff. Each division maintains its own specialty clinic within the health sciences system.

Requirements:
General Requirements:
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Dermatology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of North Carolina or the ability to obtain prior to start
• Eligible for hospital privileges at a Level 1 trauma center
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency program
• Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, including teaching and/or clinical research
• Strong clinical skills in general dermatology and outpatient procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary academic environment
• Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
