Your mission:
The mission of this role is to drive commercial growth and strengthen Hyundai GLOVIS Europe’s competitive position in the freight‑forwarding and logistics market by:
• Expanding the business to Austrian clients and other clients throughout Europe through strategic sales initiatives, new client acquisition, and development of high‑value commercial opportunities.
• Shaping and executing commercial strategy aligned with market trends to secure long‑term, profitable growth.
• Building and maintaining strong client partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor who delivers tailored logistics solutions and ensures excellent customer satisfaction.
• Leading, developing, and empowering two operational teams (Logistics and Forwarding, 15 employees) to achieve high performance, operational excellence, and alignment with commercial objectives.
• Enhancing cross‑functional collaboration across Operations, Finance, and other departments to support seamless service delivery and business expansion.
Your profile:
Professional Background & Experience
Industry Expertise
• Several years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, purchasing processes, and operational workflows
Sales & Business Development Track Record
• Proven success in client acquisition, lead generation, and high‑value contract negotiations
• Experience growing business and opening new opportunities in the Austrian and Eastern EU markets
• Demonstrated ability to drive profitable, long‑term sales growth
Leadership & Team Management
• Experience managing multi‑level teams (Team Leaders + operational staff)
• Skilled in setting KPIs, enhancing performance, and developing talent
• Ability to foster a high‑performance culture across logistics and forwarding teams

Education & Additional Qualifications
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or a related field
• Very strong command of German and English (Korean is a plus but optional depending on the context)
• Valid driver's license (implied for company car)
