The University of Ibadan (UI), establish in 1948, first as a constituent college of the University of London, became a full fledged University in 1962 and has continued to blaze the trail as the foremost Nigerian University and the crucible of human capacity development in Nigeria and indeed in sub-Saharan Africa. On account of its size, the number of faculties and institutes, the huge number of courses both at undergraduates and graduates level and competent reach to the larger society through the output and community services, UI remain the flagship of higher education in Nigeria.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for this position:

The Deputy Bursar who shall be under the general control of the Bursar of the University shall assist him in the day-to-day financial affairs of the University.

Candidates must possess a good honor Degree in Accountancy or related discipline from a recognized University with at least 12 years cognate experience in higher institution of learning as well as professionally-recognized Accountancy qualification.

Candidates must have served for not more than 4 years on the post of Chief Accountant.

Possession of relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.

Demonstrable mastery of IT.
