The Role: Thrift Store Associate
We are looking for reliable, community-minded volunteers to help our store succeed so we can continue supporting those in need. Because our participants rely on the funds generated here, your attendance and dedication are vital.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing & Sorting: Reviewing, cleaning, and tagging incoming donations.
Merchandising: Keeping the sales floor organized and visually appealing.
Customer Service: Greeting shoppers and sharing the mission of Wraparound Maryland.
Store Upkeep: Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our Princess Anne neighbors.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, volunteers should be able to:
Commit to a regular schedule during our operating days (Wednesday–Saturday).
Stand for a good part of their work day while assisting customers and sorting.
Perform light lifting (up to 40 lbs) for moving bins and donations.
Bring a friendly, empathetic, and helpful attitude to the team.
