Role Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations while delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while maintaining an efficient treatment calendar
Check patients in and out and support smooth patient flow throughout the day
Collect and process payments and assist with basic billing inquiries
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information
Verify insurance information and assist with insurance documentation when required
Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, filing, scanning, and managing office supplies
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional at all times
Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative team members to support patient care
Provide coverage and support at multiple View Dental locations as needed
What We’re Looking For
Experience
1–2 years of experience in customer service, front desk, or office administration
Experience in a dental or clinical environment is considered an asset
Experience using dental practice management software such as Dentrix is an asset
Skills and Attributes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
Professional phone etiquette and a patient-focused mindset
Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and standard office technology
Reliable, adaptable, and able to work across multiple clinic locations
