Job Description
Dental Assistant (Full-Time)
Monday–Thursday • Competitive Pay + PTO + Benefits
About the Role
Twenty years ago, The Smile Fairy Dental Spa opened in Naples with a simple goal: take great care of people. We’re proud to say that hasn’t changed — and neither have many of our patients, who have been with us for years and keep coming back because this practice feels like family. That’s something we never take for granted.
We’re a busy, friendly team that genuinely enjoys working together, and we’re looking for a Dental Assistant who will feel right at home with us. If you’re experienced, warm with patients, and the kind of person who takes ownership of their work — we’d love to have you. You’ll be stepping into a practice with strong systems, a supportive team, and a schedule designed to give you a real work-life balance (Monday–Thursday, with occasional Fridays).
What We Offer
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience
Health, dental, and vision insurance
Retirement plan
Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
Monday–Thursday schedule — occasional Fridays
Supportive, low-drama team environment
What You’ll Do
Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring comfort and confidence
Provide chairside assistance to the dentists — instrument transfer, suction, and maintaining a clear operative field
Take and store digital X-rays accurately and efficiently
Demonstrate proficiency in provisional/temporary contouring and adaptation, and matrix band placement and wedging
Prepare dental materials including impression compounds, cements, and composites
Sterilize and organize instruments in strict compliance with infection control protocols
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and treatment charting
Educate patients on post-procedure care, oral hygiene, and preventive practices
Manage supply inventory and coordinate timely reorders
Assist with appointment scheduling and billing or insurance documentation as needed
Keep operatories clean, stocked, and procedure-ready at all times
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of dental assisting experience (preferred)
Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program (preferred)
RDA or CDA certification, if required by state
Current CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Familiarity with digital X-ray systems and practice management software
Continuing education in orthodontics, oral surgery, or other specialty areas is a plus
Friendly, professional demeanor — you enjoy working with people and it shows
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to keep pace in a productive practice
Schedule
Full-time | Monday – Thursday
