Position Summary

From preparing patients for procedures to ensuring comfort and care throughout their visit, you’ll play a vital role in making quality dental experiences both welcoming and accessible. Our office is a friendly and fast paced environment. 

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing patients and treatment rooms for exams and procedures

Sterilizing instruments and setting up trays

Assisting chairside during dental treatments and nitrous oxide administration

Taking x-rays, impressions, medical histories, and vital signs

Educating patients on oral hygiene and aftercare

Recording treatment notes and helping keep patients at ease

Supporting emergencies and ensuring safety following OSHA guidelines

Most importantly, you’ll provide not only medical assistance but also the reassurance, empathy, and encouragement that make our patients feel truly cared for.

Qualifications:

1 Year of Dental Assisting experience

Valid CPR and Radiology Certification 

Experience with Dentrix Ascend a plus

A team-player mindset with the ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced setting

Strong communication skills with a warm, patient-focused approach

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Standing and walking 80% Sitting 20%

Moderate noise levels from dental and other lab equipment

Medical, office, and lab setting

Minimum lifting requirements of 35 pounds in order to transfer equipment and pack and unpack supplies.

Frequent bending, twisting, and position changes in order to examine and service patients.
