📍 Location: On-site, Colombia (Medellin, Bogotá, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Armenia, Ibagué, Cali) 🕒 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Colombian Time) 🌐 English proficiency: B2
About the Role The Demand Planning Assistant supports the weekly S&OP process for Prime Meat LLC to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective product delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills with expertise in mathematics and statistics, experience in demand planning or inventory control, and excellent communication to collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and analyze reports to optimize supply chain processes
• Plan product transfers between warehouses thrice weekly
• Manage inventory control via inter-warehouse shipments
• Maintain effective communication with production, warehouse, sales, purchasing, finance, and marketing teams
• Organize daily and weekly sales data to provide actionable insights
• Assist with weekly WMAPE calculations comparing forecast to actual sales
• Coordinate inventory transfer schedules with warehouse teams
• Make daily operational decisions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Support sales planning during atypical demand patterns
• Assist in building weekly sales forecasts
Must-Have Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning or inventory control
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills including large dataset management, formulas, and pivot tables
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
