WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an energetic, reliable Delivery Driver / Retail Operations Associate who is a proven team player with a positive, can-do attitude. This is a hands-on, physically active role that combines local delivery responsibilities with warehouse, fulfillment, and in-store pickup support.

You will serve as a key point of contact between K&L and our customers—ensuring accurate, timely deliveries—while also supporting daily warehouse operations during non-delivery hours. If you are hardworking, detail-oriented, and looking to grow with a respected company, we’d love to hear from you.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery & Customer Service

Deliver wine and spirits to customers using a company vehicle

Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules using a mobile device

Verify recipient proof of age for every delivery

Provide courteous, professional, and consistent customer service

Load, unload, and secure product safely during deliveries

Retail Operations & Warehouse Support

Fulfill web orders and in-store/curbside pickup orders

Check in, receive, and stow product deliveries and inventory transfers

Consolidate and organize paid customer orders in will-call areas

Pack and organize delivery orders accurately

Process credit card payments for completed orders

Maintain and resolve problem orders (missing items, payment issues, etc.)

Assist with warehouse organization and maintenance (sweeping, cardboard breakdown, etc.)

Operate as a back-up driver for local deliveries as needed

Work closely with the Retail Operations Manager to ensure a safe, organized facility

REQUIREMENTS

Strong attention to detail and organization

Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record

Must be able to work weekends (at least one day required; both preferred)

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day

Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and kneel frequently

Ability to load, unload, and safely operate a hand truck

Prior delivery driving, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred

Experience with Office 365, shipping software, warehouse technology, and handheld devices a plus

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8am-4:30p
