About The Role
This position is key to controlling and analyzing all cargo logistics costs, ensuring financial accuracy through monthly invoice tracking and reconciliation with the Finance team. You will be responsible for generating and monitoring shipping cost forecasts, while also coordinating closely with various teams like Pricing and Planning to ensure cost projection integrity. Ultimately, the role drives cost efficiency by leading improvement projects and presenting detailed variance explanations during critical monthly P&L reviews.

Responsibilities:
• Monthly tracking and reporting of invoices issued by cargo carriers, and ensuring reconciliation with the Finance team at month-end
• Generating forecasts for shipping cost and monitoring adherence to these forecasts throughout the month
• Maintaining alignment with cross-functional teams (e.g., Pricing, Central Planning) to ensure accurate cargo cost projections are made based on the required cost input
• Presenting forecast vs. actual performance alignment during monthly P&L meetings, and clearly explaining and rationalizing any variances (deviations)
• Maintaining continuous communication with carriers during the month to ensure smooth progress of invoicing operations
• Ensuring the automation of cargo invoicing processes and continuously monitoring them to guarantee healthy and accurate progression.
• Leading and executing projects aimed at improving shipping cost efficiency, and proposing new initiatives for further cost optimization
• Controlling the structure of the actual monthly shipping cost and charges, and monitoring margins

Expected Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree from related departments of universities
• Have a minimum of 2 years work experience
• Advanced reporting and numerical analysis skills
• Solution oriented and proactive
• Strong communicator and able to follow work effectively
• Proficient in Excel and preferably SQL
• Preferably with experience in e-commerce industry
