Job Summary:
The Kitchen Utility Employee plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting deli operations. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, from equipment cleaning and food prep to inventory handling and assisting team members. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and committed to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including fryers, coolers, and food prep areas
Receive, check in, and properly store deliveries from vendors
Rotate product to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards
Assist with food preparation, including battering products for the steam table line
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and storage areas
Support deli operations and assist with other team member duties as needed
Follow all safety, health, and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or deli experience (preferred but not required)
