What do we offer?
To be part of a high-impact internship within the Healthcare Solutions / Customer Operations area, where you will contribute to transforming how mutualist patient processes are managed in Spain through data, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will join a 11-month internship program combining hands-on experience with strategic project work. From Monday to Thursday, you will be embedded in the Customer Operations / ROP team working on real business challenges, and you will complement your development with structured learning and mentorship from senior professionals.
This role is based inMadrid, with expected office attendance (with some flexibility) to foster collaboration, networking, and exposure to different teams. International mobility could be considered in the future depending on performance and business needs.
You will also receive continuous guidance from an experienced mentor who will support your professional development throughout the program.
Purpose of this internship?
This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of mutualism healthcare management processes in Spain, focusing on efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization within the Customer Operations / ROP area.
The project will focus on analyzing and redesigning the end-to-end management of mutualist patients in the context of new financing agreements with the Ministry of Health, ensuring a robust, scalable, and error-free process supported by data analytics and AI tools.
You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve operational excellence, explore efficiencies, and enable better coordination across the healthcare ecosystem.
What are the main responsibilities of a Customer Operations (ROP Intern)?
Support the analysis and redesign of mutualism-related healthcare management processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational errors.
Contribute to the implementation of an optimized end-to-end process aligned with new financing agreements and regulatory frameworks.
Use data analytics, Excel, and AI tools to identify inefficiencies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with internal squads and external stakeholders includingMUFACE,MUGEJU,ISFAS, private healthcare teams, and cross-functional squads.
Support the development of dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to monitor process performance and financial/operational efficiency.
Participate in the design of scalable solutions that could potentially be proposed to industry stakeholders such asFarmaindustria for broader adoption.
Assist in project coordination, prioritization, and follow-up of strategic initiatives within Customer Operations.
Contribute to discussions around healthcare financing, pricing frameworks, and operational models in collaboration withMinisterio de Sanidad.
What are we looking for in this position?
Recent graduates or university students who will obtain their degree in the summer, in fields such asBusiness Administration (ADE), Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related disciplines with a strong interest in healthcare systems and operations.
We are looking for proactive, analytical, and collaborative candidates who are motivated by solving complex problems and improving healthcare processes.
Desired skills and qualifications include:
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Interest in healthcare systems, pricing and financing structures, and public-private healthcare models.
Ability to work independently in data analysis, process mapping, and structured problem-solving.
Knowledge of Excel, data analytics tools, and interest in AI-driven process improvement.
Strong communication and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Proactivity, curiosity, and willingness to challenge existing processes.
Advanced level ofEnglish and Spanish.
Previous exposure to healthcare, consulting, operations, or analytics is a plus.
International experience or mindset is desirable.
Full-timeavailability fromSeptember 2026 to August 2027.
