DEERS Operator

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

SOSi is seeking a Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) support specialist to provide personnel eligibility, enrollment, and data management support for authorized populations in accordance with Department of Defense policies and procedures.

Essential Job Duties:

• Manage a full range of DEERS transactions, including profile creation, updates, and maintenance, in accordance with applicable DoD and service-specific policies.
• Provide DEERS services to all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, DoD civilians, contractors, foreign affiliates, and other authorized country nationals.
• Accurately process DEERS transactions with an understanding that requirements vary by individual status and affiliation, ensuring compliance with governing policies and procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in DEERS management regulations and eligibility policies to ensure accurate enrollment, updates, and customer service support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a SECRET government security clearance.
• 2 years of data entry clerical experience.
• Must have a valid U.S. passport with 6 months remaining before expiration. 
• Ability to deploy overseas and complete pre-deployment training and medical screening.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior DEERS experience is desired but not required.

Work Environment:

• Work requires prolonged period of standing, walking and bending and the lifting/carrying of packages or bags of moderate weight (up to 40 pounds).
