With minimal supervision, perform all phases of deburring operations using all of the tools and equipment necessary to meet the surface finish and dimensional requirements on a wide variety of complex parts made of various metals and materials

What are the key responsibilities?

• Achieve and maintain appropriate Operator Authorization(s) as required.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, method sheets, and other written instructions.
• Analyze finish and dimensional requirements and determine the most effective and efficient processes. Select equipment, media, and cycle time to achieve required results.
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment including speed lathe, tumbling equipment, high powered scopes, drills, hand grinders, a wide range of hand and power operated tools, and fixed and variable measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems and develop and implement corrective action.
• Determine techniques necessary to salvage bellows subassemblies and assemblies.
• Suggest equipment and process improvements and replacement.
• Respond to questions and help resolve problems. Assist with training of other employees    and advise them on latest techniques and most efficient use of equipment

Hourly Rate Range:  $22.00- $27.00.  Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications

What Education and Qualifications are needed for the job?

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions
• Minimum 2 years prior experience in manufacturing is preferred
