• Work in conjunction with R&D in testing and qualification of New Product Development.
• Coordinate with R&D for resolving testing and design issues on products.
• Analyze and recommend corrective action in case of any design failure.
• Compile failure analysis report for giving feedback to supplier / R&D for appropriate actions.
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using quality tools or similar techniques.
• Provide engineering support for all activities during testing and qualification of products in factory.
• Identify root cause of each failure and proposed corrective action when necessary
• Recommend improvements to all production processes and methods to facilitate cost reduction and quality improvement regarding to testing and manufacturing.
• Identify latest technology and technique on power supply testing method.
• Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses during failure investigations.
• Prepare detailed failure analysis reports and present findings to senior management
• and stakeholders.
• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of failure analysis laboratory equipment and
• Develop and implement failure analysis processes and methodologies across multiple production lines.
 
 
• University degree or higher in a relevant engineering or science base discipline.
• Strong power electronics fundamentals and SMPS operation
• Hands-on skills on component-level failure analysis, bench test simulation, verification, evaluation, and root cause analysis
• Experience in working as R&D Engineer, Debug Engineer and/or Test Engineer
• Able to interpret schematic diagrams and validate findings using Engineering tools
• Able to compute basic electronic circuits and apply accordingly when necessary
• Must have solid understanding of component failure mechanisms
• Proficiency with instruments: Oscilloscope, Electronic Load, Power Analyzer, AC Source, Hi-pot Tester and other test and measurement equipment 
• Fluency in English, both oral and written is a must
• Must know how to create Engineering reports according to Engineering principles.
