For SY26 and SY27, we will employ nearly 50 staff members and serve almost 250 students.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Restorative Justice Support staff member, you will…
Develop strong and authentic relationships with students while maintaining high expectations to advance positive school culture
Collaborate with various parties involved with a student’s success (teachers, social work, parents, etc.) to determine the best plan for each student
Manage a caseload of students that need additional behavior support
Review data and develop procedures and plans to push behavior data in the right direction
Monitor arrival, passing periods, lunch, and dismissal
Conduct In-School Pride Breaks
Manage the Restorative Justice Office as needed
Ensure the safety and security of the building and campus
Assist in the creation of systems and structures school wide that ensure we utilize the principles of restorative justice; help train staff in these systems/structures, and then hold them accountable to using them.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders (teachers, parents, students, etc.).
Work with students, teachers, and in classrooms directly communicating/modeling restorative justice principles and systems, and then support all stakeholders in the implementation.
Support the social and emotional learning development of our scholars.
Optimize our scholars' time in classrooms through restorative justice practices.
Assist the school community in repairing relationships at the breach to restore each other. Ensure that in the process, all elements of the repair are executed with fidelity.
Purposefully support the health and creation of a safe, calm, and nurturing school climate.
ABOUT YOU
As a Restorative Justice Coordinator candidate you:
Hold an unwavering belief in our Student Code of Conduct and why it's critical to student success

Are highly skilled in deescalating high-stress and/or potentially challenging situations, quickly and effectively.
Believe in an "all scholars can do it" mantra, and the place where scholars learn the most is when they are in the classroom.
Have strong relationship-building skills with students where high expectations are at the core
Are resilient; when a tough day comes along, have the skill and mindset to bounce back and jump right back in.
Use asset based thinking strategies regarding peers, scholars, families, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Operating knowledge of computers.
• Experience in working with high school age children.
• Must be able to handle and react to potential volatile situations and take appropriate action
SALARY & BENEFITS
This is a full time position scheduled for approximately 45-50 hours/week. Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
