In this dynamic environment, we are looking for graduates or early-stage professionals to join our high-performing Deals & Strategy M&A-Corporate Finance team, which has successfully executed approximately 50 M&A transactions in the last 5 years and is ranked as the #1 M&A Advisor in Greece for the 4th consecutive year. The team consists of (a) the Corporate Finance and (b) the FS Corporate Finance practices (as detailed below).

Corporate Finance: 
 
The M&A-Corporate Finance team provides advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and capital raising across all non-financial sectors of the economy. We assist clients in buying or selling businesses, raising capital, and driving funding efficiencies. Our services include deal origination, valuation, due diligence coordination, and negotiation support. The team leverages PwC's global network to provide clients with access to potential buyers or investors and offers strategic advice throughout the transaction lifecycle. 

FS Corporate Finance: 

The FS (Financial Services) Corporate Finance team focuses on M&A and transaction advisory services specifically for the financial services sector. We help clients navigate complex transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures, within the banking, insurance, and fintech industries. The team provides strategic advice, deal origination and execution, valuation, due diligence coordination, and negotiation support to ensure successful transactions that align with clients' strategic objectives. 

As part of our team, you will: 

• Contribute to high-profile M&A transactions, advising clients on strategic initiatives that impact different sectors and the Greek economy 

• Apply advanced financial modeling, valuation techniques, and in-depth financial analysis to support complex transactions and strategic decision-making 

• Support the full transaction lifecycle, including market screening, identification of potential targets or investors, and execution of deals 

• Prepare marketing and transaction materials, such as pitch books and tailored client presentations 

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (tax, legal, regulatory, risk) to manage transaction complexities and ensure smooth execution 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, senior professionals, and industry stakeholders, contributing to clients’ growth ambitions 

What you bring matters 

• Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign university (Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree) in the following areas: Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or relevant discipline 

• Up to 1-year professional experience in the financial advisory sector, banking or management consulting industry  

• A good knowledge of applicable accounting and reporting standards (e.g. IFRS, Greek GAAP, Greek chart of accounts) and understanding of related risks in the applicable financial statement areas  

• Proficient in MS Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint 

• Analytical thinking and strong financial acumen to solve complex problems 

• Confident, positive, and proactive attitude 

• Commitment to providing excellent quality work and building client relationships 

• Effective collaboration and interpersonal communication skills 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek 

Other elements that would be highly regarded include: 

• Knowledge of Power tools (Pivot, Query, BI), Alteryx, or other programming languages 

• A relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CFA) in progress or completed
