Job Description & Summary
We believe that challenges are better solved together. That's why you'll join a diverse, global community of solvers - an unexpected mix of people that come together to build trust in society and solve important problems. With us, you are encouraged to lead with your heart and values, and where your unique skills are developed and put to work in unexpected and exciting ways, superpowered by technology.
Our Deals Advisory Practice helps businesses realise the potential of their mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and capital markets with a global network of industry experts coupled with data-driven insights. As the largest in Singapore, we provide faster growth, stronger capabilities, a competitive edge across the entire deal continuum, from strategy formulation, deal origination, transaction support and finance raising, to post deal integration and exit.
We are seeking Senior Associate / Manager level candidate to join our Strategic Capital Solutions (“SCS”) team.
The SCS team at PwC covers the APAC region and specialises in structured capital advisory (including private credit and structured equity fundraising solutions), and pre-emptive debt restructuring. We are a first mover in Asia's private credit market — one of the region's fastest-growing capital segments — working closely with corporates, sponsors, and investors to deliver bespoke capital solutions across APAC.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate / Manager within the team, you will work closely with senior team members across the full deal lifecycle on private credit fundraising, structured equity, and restructuring mandates, with responsibilities including:
• Build and maintain complex financial models, including debt sizing, covenant analysis, LBO, DCF, and capital structure scenarios.
• Conduct credit analysis, due diligence, and operational assessments across structured finance and restructuring engagements.
• Assist in preparing client presentations, funding memorandum, transaction documents, and other deliverables.
• Liaise with private credit funds, family offices, institutional investors, and lenders to support fundraising and negotiation processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients on day-to-day project matters, either virtually or onsite when required.
• Support pitch preparation, market research, and origination efforts across SEA and broader APAC.
• Participate in training, knowledge-sharing, and contribute to ongoing development of the team.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for cross-team collaboration.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of relevant experience in structured finance, private credit, leveraged finance, investment banking, restructuring, or advisory boutiques.
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work across disciplines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar), including agentic AI, and a keen interest in leveraging them to enhance productivity, research, and analysis.
• Solid grasp of credit analysis, capital structures, and transaction structuring.
Why PwC?
• High-impact work on landmark private credit and restructuring transactions across APAC.
• Work alongside a growing, multi-disciplinary team of advisory professionals fueled by camaraderie and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Leverage our broad Advisory capabilities to deliver more complete and integrated solutions to clients.
• Access to the global PwC network and opportunities for continuous personal and professional growth.
• We offer opportunities for accelerated personal and professional growth, and a long career at PwC.
