The Director of Kids Crest provides leadership and oversight for all operations of the Daycare and Learning Center at Country Manor Campus. This role is responsible for creating a high-quality, nurturing environment for children while leading, developing, and supporting a team of childcare professionals.
The Director ensures daily operations run efficiently and in full compliance with all state and local licensing requirements. This leader fosters strong relationships with children, families, and staff while promoting a culture centered on safety, education, and exceptional service.
As a key leader within Country Manor, the Director of Kids Crest plays an important role in shaping a positive early childhood experience—supporting children’s growth and development while building a strong, engaged team and a trusted program for families.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
Knowledge and understanding of regulations for licensed daycare facilities (Minnesota Rule 3 or applicable regulations)
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships
Ability to demonstrate patience, professionalism, and tact with children, families, and staff
Basic computer and mathematical skills
Strong team-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities
Provides leadership and oversight of daily daycare operations in accordance with organizational policies and all federal, state, and local regulations
Develops, maintains, and updates daycare policies, procedures, and licensing requirements
Establishes and implements short- and long-term goals aligned with the center’s mission and philosophy
Plans, manages, and monitors the operational budget
Leads enrollment efforts including tours, family communication, and onboarding of new clients
Oversees billing processes, maintains client accounts, and addresses billing inquiries and collections
Supervises, coaches, and evaluates daycare staff, including performance management and corrective action when needed
Leads recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of daycare employees
Develops staff schedules, job assignments, and ensures appropriate classroom staffing levels
Coordinates staff training related to safety, emergency procedures, and program standards
Addresses and resolves concerns or conflicts involving staff, children, or families
Serves as the primary liaison between the daycare center and parents, fostering strong relationships
Ensures all equipment and classroom environments are safe and well-maintained
Promotes a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for children and families
Interprets and communicates regulatory requirements to staff
Reviews and updates policies annually and communicates changes to appropriate individuals
Prepares reports and updates for administration as requested
Performs other duties as assigned
