$2,500.00 Sign-on bonus for a 1-year commitment

$5,000.00 Sign-on bonus for a 2-year commitment

$1,000.00 Relocation Assistance (Not required)

Job Type: Full-Time

$21.00 per hour for licensed paramedics

$22.00 per hour for associate degree paramedics

$23.00 per hour for bachelor's degree paramedics

Additional $1.00/hr. for Critical Care Certification

Up to an additional $1.00 per hour for previous experience

Shift incentives are paid for special events, supervisory duties, and other special situations.

Job Description

Operates an emergency medical vehicle.

Lifts, carries, and transports injured, sick or incapacitated persons from residential or accident scenes to medical facilities.

Provides Paramedic level emergency medical treatment to injured, sick, or incapacitated persons.

Communicates with professional medical personnel at treatment facility to obtain instructions regarding treatment and to arrange for reception at medical treatment facilities.

Obtains information from and examines patients to determine nature, extent, or magnitude of illness or injury.

Administers prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency or in the ambulance according to established medical protocols.

Inspects equipped emergency vehicles; cleans equipment to ensure its safe operation; and replenishes medical supplies, fuel, and fluids.

Requirements

Applicants must be Paramedic certified and able to obtain an Oklahoma EMS license. Basic EMTs nearing the end of Paramedic school or waiting to test will be considered.

Applicants must have a clean driving record and no criminal history and must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Driver’s License.

Our candidate testing includes a skills exam, physical fitness test and written exam.

Preferred candidates will have current CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications.

We prefer candidates who are willing to relocate to the service area although it is not a mandatory requirement for employment
