Overall Responsibility:
To maintain equipment in as good as new condition, assuring reliable performance to standard through inspections, corrective actions to restore equipment to inherent condition, problem solving to address root cause failures & loop closures. Coaches’ operators in the correct way to operate equipment & to perform Autonomous maintenance tasks.

Comply with safe, health & environment procedures & legislation
Maintain safety & 5S standards
Identify unsafe practices through the safety observation reporting process
Safety inspections conducted
Adherence to PPE standard

Maintain & repair plant and associated devices:
Locate plant, equipment, spares & relevant documentation/systems
Plan & prepare the job
Carry out repairs & maintenance schedules safely and accurately
Operator workshop equipment

Requirements of the Role
Tertiary education, degree or diploma, in Electrical and/or mechanical engineering
Passed the relevant Trade Test
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant technical experience in a similar role, preferably in the brewing, beverage or FMCG industry
Exposure to a workshop environment
Ability to work overtime when required
Preferred Skills/Competencies:
Trade test qualification
Sharp problem solving/root cause analysis skills
Good team player
