Position Summary 

The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the building during business hours. This role focuses on high-visibility areas such as lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and common spaces, while responding promptly to tenant and property management requests.

Job Details 

Location: On-Site (Laguna Hills, CA)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Compensation: $17 - $19 Hourly DOE

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of lobby, entrances, elevators, and common areas

Monitor and service restrooms (restock supplies, wipe surfaces, spot mop) 

Perform continuous trash removal from common areas

Respond to spills and urgent cleaning needs

Spot vacuum and mop high-traffic areas

Clean interior glass and entry doors as needed

Maintain breakrooms and shared kitchen areas

Report maintenance issues or safety hazards

Assist property management with special requests

Qualifications

Prior janitorial or porter experience preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail

Professional appearance and customer service skills 

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Reliable transportation and punctuality required Skills & Competencies

Strong time management

Positive attitude and team mindset

Ability to interact professionally with tenants and visitors

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
