Strong technical skills in designing datastage jobs (Parallel, Sequence). Should be able to provide solution to random scenarios and aware of the parallelism & partitioning techniques in datastage.

2. Strong skills in Oracle or relevant RDBMS, should have sound knowledge in writing SQL queries with Joins, sub queries, aggregate & analytical functions. Knowledge on PL/SQL is an added advantage.

3. Strong skills in Unix commands. Additional knowledge in shell scripting would be beneficial.

4. Knowledge on Autosys (scheduling tool) would be an added advantage.

5. Ability to understand the requirements from Functional / Technical Spec.

6. Ability to work in SDLC & Agile methodologies.

7. Sound knowledge on unit testing, system testing.
