Job Description & Summary

We are looking for:

Datasphere Reporting Analyst & Developer

Your future role:

• Work as part of a team of technology and integration experts, functional consultants and problem solvers with extensive technology, consulting and industry experience,

• Take over the development role for SAP S/4HANA–based Reporting & Analytics technologies, Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and native SAP Analytics Cloud,

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to fulfil reporting and analytics requirements across Finance, Controlling and Engagement Management processes,

• Plan, design, implement and support reporting and analytics solutions,

• Provide configuration and customization for Embedded SAC, SAP Datasphere and native SAP Analytics Cloud,

• Deliver hands-on development of custom CDS Views, Custom Analytical Queries and SAC stories,

• Advise business and technical stakeholders on technical capabilities and create blueprints and prototypes for demo purposes,

• Collaborate with roll-out teams to ensure technical onboarding and required adjustments,

• Review code delivered by junior developers and external service providers,
• Manage releases and ongoing changes,

• Evaluate innovations in S/4HANA Public Cloud, Embedded Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud, and support continuous improvement by adopting innovations that bring additional value,

• Collaborate with internal support teams, SAP and third-party product vendors to provide Level 3 support and resolve issues.

Apply if you have:
• Completed studies in (business-) informatics or a comparable field,

• Multiple years of technical and functional experience in Reporting & Analytics technologies,

• Experience in project management or leadership roles is an advantage,

• Fluent written and spoken English; German is beneficial,

• Expertise in SAP Analytics technologies (S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud),

• Strong business and analytics background with the ability to analyse and document non-functional requirements, interpret non-technical requirements, and define architecture and technical solutions,

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, SAP Datasphere and native SAC, including building custom CDS Views, Custom Analytical Queries and SAC stories,

• Deep understanding of HANA data modelling, schema management, content import/export and data provisioning technologies,

• Hands-on experience with visualization tools and scripting in SAC (formerly Analytic Applications),

• Data modelling skills in SAP Datasphere (Task Chains, Views, Tables); knowledge of Scoped Roles administration is preferred,

• Experience with administering, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning HANA models,

• Knowledge of user management, roles and privileges in the Embedded SAC environment,

• Base experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Foundry environment and services,

• Strong interpersonal, conceptual, presentation and communication skills with the ability to propose suitable solutions to stakeholders at different levels,

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and design-thinking approaches,

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multifunctional team, including mentoring others,

• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver with high accuracy,

• Positive attitude towards change and willingness to take on tasks outside a narrowly defined role,

• Self-motivated, results-driven and capable of working with limited supervision while proactively reporting progress.
