DataOps Engineer (Athens, Greece)

In this role, you will join our team in Athens to design, develop, and deliver high-performance cloud and data applications. You will work closely with client project teams to build the software and data foundations that enable data-driven value creation and industrialized AI across various industries.

Your tasks will include:

• Designing and implementing software and data applications with a strong focus on automation and scalability.
• Architecting cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt) within the Azure ecosystem.
• Building robust data pipelines and lakehouse architectures using Databricks, PySpark, and Unity Catalog.
• Establishing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for the seamless testing and delivery of both infrastructure and data workloads.
• Occasional travel to Switzerland to meet with our team in our headquarters in Zurich.

What you bring:

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in DevOps, specifically within the Azure stack (VNets, CosmosDB, Key Vault, Function Apps, API Management, PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in Data Engineering, particularly with Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Workflows, Asset Bundles).
• Strong IaC and Orchestration skills using Terraform, Terragrunt, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and a solid understanding of data modeling.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
