As part of the Thales group’s Business Intelligence platform, the platform’s build and run team is looking for a DataOps with knowledge of Business Intelligence on these Microsoft cloud / non-cloud environments involving technologies: SQL Server, SSAS, PowerBI Report Server / Cloud. The mission will aim to ensure the continuous improvement of the BI platform with its thousands of daily users.

Job Description:

User support

• Provide functional and technical assistance to BI platform users through the management of ITSM tickets
• Analyze platform requests and impacts
• Propose continuous improvement solutions

Maintenance in operational condition

• Monitor the performance of SQL Server databases and BI tools to ensure availability and performance.
• Manage the installations, updates, and patches of the different components of the platform (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI Report Server).
• Diagnose and resolve incidents affecting the platform.

Data security:

• Implement and maintain security controls to protect sensitive data.
• Manage user access to the platform in accordance with platform and regulatory security policies.
• Conduct regular security and systems compliance audits using platform security reports.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in SQL Server (administration, optimization).
• Expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• In‑depth knowledge of Power BI Cloud & Report Server (deployment, security management, report creation).
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, T‑SQL).
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and interact with various IT teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent, 3‑year degree).
• Proven prior experience in a similar role of at least 4 years or in Data Ops, ideally at least 2 years.
