We are looking for a dedicated Datacenter Key Accounts and Specification Manager - UAE to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary: The Datacenter Key Accounts and Specification Manager - UAE will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing and maintaining specifications, and ensuring that Legrand datacenter solutions is positioned well in the UAE market in upcoming projects. This role requires a deep understanding of Datacenter infrastructure, technical design capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects & stakeholders simultaneously

Key Responsibilities:

•         Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key datacenter owners, operators, consultants, and specifiers to position Legrand as a trusted partner for mission-critical infrastructure solutions.
•         Specification Development & Project Influence: Drive inclusion of Legrand solutions in datacenter design specifications by engaging consultants, securing vendor approvals, and ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
•         Business Development & Market Intelligence: Identify and pursue new datacenter projects and opportunities by monitoring market trends, upcoming developments, and client needs to maximize Legrand’s share of specifications.
•         Technical Expertise & Training: Deliver technical presentations, assist stake holders with specification, design assistance and organize training sessions for consultants, contractors, as well as end-users to strengthen awareness of Legrand’s datacenter solutions portfolio.
•         Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, and technical teams to support project execution and successful closing of orders, ensuring Legrand solutions are positioned competitively and specifications are converted into orders.
•         CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of key accounts, projects, and specifications in Salesforce, ensuring timely updates and actionable insights for business growth.

 

Qualifications:

•         Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
•         Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management and specification development in the Datacenter segment within the UAE.
•         Knowledge of Datacenter standards (Uptime / TIA-942) and industry standards.

 

Required Skills & Competencies:

•         Datacenter Knowledge: Strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure, power distribution, cooling, and connectivity solutions.   
•         Design Knowledge: Work with end users and consultants by presales / pretender engagement to specify by design with Legrand solutions.  Expert knowledge of AutoCAD would be a requirement.
•         Consultative Selling: Ability to influence decision-makers and drive specification wins through technical and commercial expertise.
•         Relationship Builder: Excellent communication and networking skills to engage consultants, contractors, and key accounts.
•         Proactive & Organized: Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
•         Team-Oriented: Collaborative mindset to work across departments and deliver integrated solutions.
