Overview
We are seeking an experienced Database Management Analyst III to provide senior-level technical leadership and oversight within a federal program environment. This position will support the development, integration, and maintenance of software and training systems, including computer-based training platforms. The role requires strong leadership experience in software development environments and the ability to guide technical teams in delivering complex training and support systems.
The selected candidate will manage development efforts, coordinate with government stakeholders, and ensure technical solutions align with program requirements and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and management oversight for software development and database-related program activities.
Lead and coordinate a team of software developers and technical personnel supporting system development and training platforms.
Manage development efforts related to computer-based training systems and software applications.
Support the planning, development, integration, and maintenance of program software systems.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and secure software development practices.
Coordinate technical activities with program leadership, engineering teams, and government stakeholders.
Oversee development schedules, deliverables, and system integration activities to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Support program documentation, reporting, and technical briefings.
Identify risks, resource requirements, and technical challenges and recommend solutions to ensure successful system delivery.
Support program configuration management, testing activities, and system lifecycle support.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
A minimum of 18 years of relevant professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
15+ years of professional experience in engineering or information technology.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification.
Demonstrated experience leading teams in software development environments.
Experience supporting computer-based training development or similar training platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
20+ years of professional experience in engineering or IT.
Experience supporting Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software development.
Experience supporting technical systems within federal or defense environments.
Experience coordinating complex software development efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
