Job Description

Artech provides technical expertise to fill gaps in clients' immediate skill-sets availability, deliver emerging technology skill-sets, refresh existing skill base, allow for flexibility in project planning and execution phases, and provide budgeting/financial flexibility by offering contingent labor as a variable cost.

Role: Database Developer (SQL)

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

Duration: 12+ months (possible conversion to FTE for a right candidate))

Position Description:

· Experience in object-oriented design and analysis.

· Extensive experience in full software development life cycle including requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and maintenance.

· Strong background in database development and proven history as a team player.

· Must be able to compile and maintain an enterprise schema across all applications and enforce the principles of good (authorized/accepted) data design.

· Design and maintain data architecture that accommodates changing business priorities and technological changes.

Experience Level: 6-10 Years.

Skill Set:

· Ability building data abstraction layers.

· Stored procedures, triggers and SQL.

· Extensive background in development on multiple databases.

Client Notes: The focus of this project is to migrate our physical 2008 R2 SQL Server to SQL Server 2014. This includes numerous SSIS packages, SQL stored procedures, and SQL Agent Jobs.
