We currently have a vacancy for a Database Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg, Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
• Data analysis and modelling;
• Database design and implementation;
• Reverse engineering of existing databases;
• Development, maintenance and integration of database components;
• Integration with other databases;
• Elaboration of test programs;
• Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models and databases;
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
• Troubleshooting and optimization;
• Provision of technical evaluations and audit reports of databases and risk analysis.
Requirements:
• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 5 years of experience of data modelling and database design techniques and tools (e.g. SQL Developer Data Modeler, Hackolade, NoSQL Workbench);
• Minimum 5 years of experience of development tools (e.g. Oracle SQL Developer) and relational database systems (e.g. Oracle);
• Minimum 5 years of experience SQL, PL/SQL and database development best practices;
• Minimum 2 years of experience database security and database architecture;
• Minimum 2 years of experience of database release management;
• Minimum 2 years of experience Agile methodology, Confluence and Jira;
• Minimum 1 year of experience of Oracle Cloud database + S3 Bucket;
• Excellent command of the English and French language.
