Job Description

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Database Administrator to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Within the "Analytical Applications" section of the IT department, you will be in charge of setting up, administering, and migrating databases.
• Administering Oracle and PostgreSQL components.
• Oracle database migration.
• Backup and restoration management.
• Monitoring and resolving incidents and performance degradations.
• On-call duties occasionally when necessary.

Requirements:
What will you be bringing to the team?

• Bachelor Degree in IT or related field and at least 10 years of proven professional experience as Data Base Administrator.
• Proven experience as an Oracle and PostgreSQL DBA on Linux.
• Experience in Oracle 12c to 19c migrations.
• Experience in postgreSQL database installation and maintenance.
• Expert in Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
• Good knowledge of Oracle Linux.
• Ability to autonomously migrate large databases via XTTS, RMAN CONVERT, and Datapump.
• Open to on-call duties occasionally when necessary.
• Fluency in both French and English.
