Database Administrator
Kitchener, ON
The role requires travel to Austria immediately by end of October for 4 weeks, so someone who can travel hassle free is good.

- Advanced Experience with operating of Linux Server
- Advanced Experience with DB/2 administration
- Advanced Experience with DB/2 scripts
- Advanced Experience with DB/2 tools
- Advanced Experience with DB/2 performance monitoring
- Basic knowledge of a ticket system

Activities:
1. DB/2 Performance Monitoring
2. DB/2 -Installation and Configuration
3. DB/2 Operating
4. Initial Load ofDB
5. Workload Management Databases reflecting SLAs
6. Monitoring of Middleware-applications (DAE, …)
7. Monitoring concurrent DB usage
8. Session Control during Release-updates (avoid downtimes)
9. DB/2 Migration
10. Configuration/Operation of UDB
