We are searching for a knowledgeable and experienced Database Administrator/ Database Engineer (DBA) Senior Consultant to join our talented team at Talent Worx. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing database solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of our data systems.

• Experience: 8 to 12 years
• Location: Pune, Noida

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead database design, coding, and testing efforts, ensuring robust solutions that meet business requirements.

2. Monitor and optimize database performance, managing capacity planning and tuning efforts.

3. Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data protection and compliance.

4. Configure and maintain database environments in cloud and on-premise settings.

5. Collaborate with software developers and data analysts to improve data access and usability.

6. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, providing technical support and advising clients on best practices.

7. Conduct capacity planning and performance testing for database systems.

8. Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, standards, and operational procedures.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.

- Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling concepts.

- Experience with cloud database technologies (such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).

- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools.

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation.

- Experience with database security and compliance measures.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. 7+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or Database Engineer, preferably in a consulting environment.

3. Certification in relevant database technologies (e.g., Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL) preferred.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team setting.
