We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (Multi-Platform) to join our growing team and support complex, high-availability database environments across multiple technologies and cloud platforms.

Role Summary

The Database Administrator (Multi-Platform) will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-grade database environments across Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. The role requires hands-on expertise in on-premises and cloud environments, strong performance tuning capabilities, and experience with high availability, disaster recovery, backup/recovery, and replication technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Database Administration

•
Administer Oracle Databases in on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.

•
Perform advanced performance tuning, diagnostics, and workload optimization.

•
Manage backup and recovery using RMAN.

•
Configure, monitor, and maintain Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.

•
Implement and support Oracle replication technologies, including:

•
Oracle GoldenGate

•
HVR Replication

SQL Server Administration

•
Administer SQL Server databases in on-premises and Azure SQL environments.

•
Design and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as:

•
AlwaysOn Availability Groups

•
Failover Clustering

•
Perform database security hardening, patching, and performance tuning.

•
Design and manage robust backup and recovery strategies.

Snowflake Administration

•
Manage Snowflake environments including user provisioning, role management, access control, and security.

•
Perform query performance tuning and virtual warehouse optimization.

•
Manage data loading/unloading, ETL integrations, and external stages.

PostgreSQL Administration

•
Install, configure, upgrade, and manage PostgreSQL databases.

•
Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and configuration tuning.

•
Define and implement backup, restore, and recovery strategies.

MongoDB Administration

•
Install, configure, and administer MongoDB in on-premises and cloud environments.

•
Monitor performance, tune queries, and optimize database configurations.

•
Implement and manage MongoDB security including:

•
Authentication

•
Authorization

•
Role-based access control (RBAC)

Required Skills & Competencies

•
Strong hands-on experience across multiple database platforms.

•
Expertise in troubleshooting, performance analysis, and optimization.

•
Experience supporting mission-critical, high-availability systems.

•
Solid understanding of backup, recovery, replication, and DR strategies.

•
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

•
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications in one or more of the following:
