Role Purpose
The role is responsible for leading development teams working across Data Warehouse and Application Integration systems such as Snowflake, MuleSoft, Business Data Reports, along with managing business requirements for BSS & OSS systems integrations such as Salesforce, ERP, OSS applications, etc., ensuring high-quality delivery of enterprise data and integration solutions. This role acts as a key bridge between business stakeholders and IT, translating business requirements into scalable, well-architected data solutions by managing integration APIs from various business and OSS systems aligned with the overall EXA IT business applications landscape.
The role will work closely with the Team Leads and Senior Leadership team to manage resources, vendors, delivery priorities, and stakeholder expectations, while ensuring architectural consistency, governance, and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Team Management
· Lead and manage developers and technical teams working on Data Warehousing solutions like Snowflake data platforms, MuleSoft integrations using API development & support, and data integration management related to other enterprise applications.
· Oversee end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring timelines, scope, quality, and dependencies are effectively managed.
· Provide guidance to teams, ensuring best practices in design, development, integration, and deployment.
· Support capacity planning, sprint planning, and prioritization of work across platforms.
Business Engagement & Requirements
· Act as a point of contact for business stakeholders for Snowflake, MuleSoft, and Salesforce-related initiatives.
· Engage with business teams to understand requirements, challenges, and strategic objectives.
· Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment across data, integration, and application layers.
· Ensure requirements are clearly documented, reviewed, and understood by delivery teams and implementation partners.
Architecture & Technology Alignment
· Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the end-to-end IT architecture at EXA, including data, integration, application, and upstream/downstream systems.
· Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security, data governance, and integration patterns.
· Collaborate with architects and senior IT stakeholders to design solutions.
· Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize the existing integration and data landscape.
Individual Profile
· Strong experience in IT delivery, with a strong focus on data platforms, system integrations, and business-critical applications.
· Strong ability to engage with business stakeholders, understand complex business requirements, and translate them into clear delivery plans and technical direction.
· Solid understanding of Snowflake-based data solutions, including data flows, analytics use cases, and enterprise data architecture (hands-on experience preferred but not mandatory).
· Good working knowledge of Salesforce capabilities and integration approaches, enabling effective coordination between Salesforce, data, and integration teams.
· Strong delivery management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and dependency management across multiple workstreams.
· Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models, collaborating closely with product owners, architects, and engineering leads.
· Ability to work closely with senior IT leadership to manage resources, align priorities, and drive execution across teams.
