Data Strategy Consultant

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for Data Strategy Consultants for one of our partners, a global leader in the IT Services and IT Consulting.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Consultant to join our Data Strategy and Consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data strategy, data governance, and analytics, with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making processes within organizations. This role involves leading complex projects, working closely with clients to develop and implement data strategies, and ensuring data governance frameworks are effectively established and maintained.

Responsibilities:

Data Strategy Development:

• Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive data strategies that align with clients' business objectives.
• Conduct assessments of current data capabilities and provide actionable insights to enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Develop roadmaps for data management, analytics, and governance initiatives.

Data Governance:

• Establish and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Define and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data regulations and industry standards.

Client Consulting:

• Work closely with clients to understand their data challenges and provide tailored consulting solutions.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients on data governance best practices.
• Lead client engagements, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver high-quality consulting services.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Lead and coordinate with internal teams to ensure project deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

Thought Leadership:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, upcoming regional and global data regulations, and best practices in data management and governance.
• Lead and mentor team of consultants and analysts and effectively enable them to grow.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or any data related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in data management, data governance, or related roles.
• Proven track record of successfully leading data strategy and governance projects for large organizations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DAMA or NDMO.
• Experience in consulting and client management is highly desirable.
• Being an ARABIC speaker is a must.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and tools.
• Proficiency in data management and analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent bilingual verbal/written communication skills (Arabic and English).
• Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in data governance (e.g., DAMA, CIMP).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, KSA Personal Data Protection Law) and their impact on data governance.
