Data Specialist Operations Coordinator

We are looking for an individual who can lead the coordination of the data specialist department. Overall, this role is responsible for ensuring the overall success of data quality for multiple sports leagues around the world. The coordinator will assist the director of operations and the managers to handle the efficiency of day-to-day activities. They will also develop and implement future strategies, and work closely with operational leadership to meet expectations and objectives

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Supervise a large and diverse international staff and provide constructive feedback.

• Have an understanding of the data quality control processes.

• People management for an international team of data specialists, data specialist managers, and service providers.

• Maintain and develop documentation ranging from weekly debriefs, evergreen instructional guides, and planning.

• Influence operational staffing decisions in synchronization with engineering development and client service-level agreements.

• Coordinate with international offices across multiple timezones ensuring a strong global collaboration

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Prior experience managing a team in a professional setting.

• Prior experience asserting institutional knowledge to guide inter-departmental decision making.

• Prior experience collaborating live with remote colleagues.

• Understanding of the current landscape and recent past of major professional leagues.
