Job Description

Alan Biller and Associates is seeking a highly motivated Data Specialist to join our Performance Reporting & Analytics team. As a Data Specialist, you will work internally with our Performance Analysts, as well as externally with custodian banks, investments managers and recordkeepers. Preference given to candidates within the Pacific Time zone.

Responsibilities
• Gather financial data from various sources including Investment Managers, Custodians and Recordkeepers
• Monitor data sources for consistency and completeness
• Ensure data is accurate, organized and saved to the appropriate location
• Develop data extraction procedures
• Assist with fund level proxy voting
• Assist with special projects

General Requirements
• Degree in Business, Economics, Math, or Finance preferred

• Familiarity with investment/financial reports, a plus

• High comfort level with working independently and meeting deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint

Benefits

The base salary for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 range, plus bonus. In determining the base salary, relevant and number of years’ experience are considered.
