Job Description

Data Specialist 

Reporting to the E-commerce Director, the Data Specialist will be responsible for building a comprehensive data architecture. As this is a brand-new role within the web team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape it from the ground up in collaboration with the Technology and Digital teams, fulfilling a key need within the broader Linen Chest family. 

• Develop and implement robust ETL processes that consolidate multiple data sources 
• Design and maintain an efficient and scalable data architecture 
• Participate in platform transitions to ensure proper data governance and a solid data framework 
• Advise and create dashboards for various web-related teams and other departments 

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) for building dashboards, transforming data, programming, and connecting diverse data sources 
• Proven experience with ETL processes/tools and data warehousing 
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence applications 
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases, including complex query writing 
• Knowledge of data security and governance best practices 
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to address diverse stakeholder needs 
• (Asset) Experience in programming with REST APIs or similar technologies
