Data Solutions Associate (with experience in Data Management)

Primary Responsibilities As a member of the team, conducts various data entry, management and reporting activities as trained and assigned for Industrial Hygiene (IH) using database system/s to ensure accurate information in reports. Specific Responsibilities Enters various IH/EHS data including but not limited to job titles, work areas, and IH sampling information from provided field sheets, and generates summary table for each report as trained and assigned. Data may include sample login data, field data, occupational exposure limits, verification of data accuracy, and others. Regularly prepares and submits statistical reports to clients. Performs other data quality verification functions as assigned in the future. Provides reports documenting reviews and changes where required. Maintains the integrity of the contents of database necessary for credible statistical reports. Attends and participates in team and company meetings. Provides suggestions on process improvements. Reports to Management any breach of integrity, solicitation for, or offer of, an improper payment or advantage coming to his/her knowledge. Performs other duties as may be assigned by Operations Manager to achieve operations efficiency. Examples of other tasks are as follows: to supervise or Member of Special Projects or Work Group Complies with the Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Energy (QHSEE) policies and collaborating objectives including, but not limited to: Demonstrates strong undertaking to SGS QHSEE policies, procedures and work instructions by participating in meetings, projects and events, completes required training, intervenes in unsafe situations, refuses unsafe work, and complies fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSEE Reacts appropriately and immediately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to behave to emergencies within the workplace Disposes or directs the disposal of waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with the disposal regulations and requirements, and in accordance with SGS Environmental Management System requirements Reports all incidents, including near misses and hazards, that may affect the achievement of QHSEE objectives in accordance with SGS Incident Reporting and Management requirements Efficiently uses all equipment, including safety equipment, and company owned property in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to Line Supervisor Maintains a safe and tidy worksite according to the organization’s 5S program and guidelines Maintains awareness of the safety and health related hazards and environmental aspects and proposes action plans to control the risks to Line Supervisor or QHSEE Coordinators Participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management Fulfills the requirements needed in the success of the QHSEE Management System Recognizes the potential consequences of not following the established policies, procedures, and guidelines, including not fulfilling the organization’s compliance obligations Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in upholding of departmental goals or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her Line Supervisor. *May include any combination of duties as needed in a project.

Profile Must have at least a University and or College Degree. A minimum of one-year data entry, management and verification experience is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to data quality and operational excellence Required Skills/ Experience / Knowledge Computer literate (familiar with MS Window applications). Must type at least 35 words per minute with an accuracy rate of at least 90%. Audit and proof-reading exposure preferred. Detail and results-oriented. Able to coordinate and motivate. Able to build certainty, respect and confidentiality. Acts quickly and conclusively; able to make tough calls. Languages Must possess good oral and written communications skills in English Additional language/s in oral or written communication skills is an advantage.

Willing to be assigned in Alabang Hybrid Set up Can work on weekends and on rotation shift basis (Morning, Mid or Night Shift). Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
